All participants must be members of the USA Triathlon and show proof of membership at packet pick-up or purchase a 1-day license by including the $12.00 with your entry.
Race management reserves the right to cancel or modify the event due to unfavorable conditions.Race management also reserves the right to accept or reject all entry forms.
Race entry is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Age Group Classifications:
Men and Women’s Divisions for: 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29,30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-84, 85+
Clydesdales: Men 200 lbs. and over (2 divisions)
Ages: 39 and under, 40 and over
Athena: Women 160 lbs. and over
Team: There will be eight (8) team divisions
Men’s Open, Women’s Open, Mixed, Corporate, Family, Special Response, School and Hall of Fame.
Two or three entrants for each team, each member doing one segment of the race, relay style. Entrants may not be a member of more than one team. Corporate team members must all work for the same company. Special Response Teams are composed of EMS, Fire, and Law Enforcement personnel. School Teams are composed of middle school and high school students with minimum age of 13. Hall of Fame team category available to racers who have participated a total of 10 times between all team members.
Race Rules:
Run Start: Run will be a wave start:
Wave 1: Men age 40 and above (Green Wrist Band)
Wave2: Women age 40 and above (Pink Wrist Band)
Wave3: Men age 39 and under (Blue Wrist Band)
Wave4: Women age 39 and under, All Teams(Yellow Wrist Band)
Bike Rules: USA Triathlon rules will apply. Helmets must be worn and meet USCF safety standards.
Bike support by: Sponsoring Local Bicycle Stores
Swim Rules: USA Triathlon rules will apply.
Amenities: Restrooms available. Water will be available on the run course.
Medical aid station at transition area. Monitors on the run and bike course. Only aid from the race officials permitted.
Water, soda, fruit and snacks available for participating triathletes at finish area. Breakfast on the lawn after the race as we await the awards ceremony.
Awards: Race awards ceremony will be held immediately after completion of the triathlon. All finishers receive medals. Overall awards to top 10 male and female finishers; top five in each age group and top five in each team division. No duplication of awards.
