Race Instructions for Reverse Sprint

RACE TATTOOS and RACE AGE GROUP
IDENTIFIERS are in your Race Bags.
Race Tattoos - (2) - Place one on EACH UPPER ARM.
( Race Logo at the Top )
Age Group Identifiers.
Place on Right Calf.
The age group identifiers MIGHT NOT BE YOUR EXACT AGE BUT Should REPRESENT Your Division.
Persons without I.D. numbers on their body or wristbands WILL NOT be allowed in transition area.
Transition Area will close at 7:20 am and reopen after the start of the last wave.
Race Start: 7:30 Am
Time Trial Start within each wave.

RUN-3.1 MILES
Place Small Numerical Sticker on shorts or shirts.
(RUN NUMBER)
Timing Chip MUST REMAIN ON YOUR ANKLE
THE ENTIRE RACE.
( YOU MAY NOT USE YOUR OWN CHIP.)
A) Run Start Before the Curve on Crayton Road - North of Transition at 7:30 a.m. SHARP.
B) Runners will run on the right side of the road with traffic.
COURSE WILL BE OPEN TO TRAFFIC-USE CAUTION
C) It is the responsibility of the runner to know and remain on the Running course.
D) Water and Aid Stations: There will be one water stations at 1.5 Mile and One water station in Transition Area.
WATER will be AVAILABLE COURSE.
1. One water station on the run course at approximately 1.5miles.
2. One water station at the transition.
Headphones, headsets, or other devices, which interfere with normal hearing are Prohibited
NO escort or non-official aid is permitted.
BIKE- 9.3 MILES
Bike Number -Attaches to Seat Post of Bike.
Helmet Number -Place Small Numerical Sticker on Front of Helmet.
A) COURSE IS OPEN TO TRAFFIC-USE CAUTION
B) HELMETS ARE MANDATORY throughout the entire cycling portion of the event.
The Helmet MUST BE BUCKLED BEFORE mounting the bike and REMAIN BUCKLED at all times
until AFTER DISMOUNTING THE BIKE.
C) The responsibility of staying on the course rests with the Competitor.
D) Stay to the right on the cycling course and permit faster riders to pass on the left.
E) NO CYCLIST SHALL DRAFT (ride behind) another cyclist or vehicle.
F) Headsets or walkmans are PROHIBITED.
G) Cyclist must return bike to designated rack before going to the Swim portion of the race.
IMPORTANT- You MUST WALK/RUN YOUR BIKE out of TRANSITION AREA UNTIL YOU CROSS THE MOUNT LINE. Then MOUNT YOUR BIKE.
YOU MUST DISMOUNT YOUR BIKE AT THE DISMOUNT LINE entering back into Transition area.
YOU MUST WALK/RUN YOR BIKE INTO Transition AREA
SWIM - ΒΌ MILE
A) Enter the water from the bike transition via sidewalk and down steps onto the beach.
B) Keep buoys on your right
C) Swim out to the first buoy and turn right, continue to swim straight - north past second buoy, swim north to third buoy and turn right, swim to shore and exit water, and cross finish line on beach.
D) No Swim propulsion or floatation aids permitted.
E) Only officially entered competitors may swim the course.
